Turkmenistan plans to develop agro-industrial complex with foreign partners

On the 34th anniversary of Turkmenistan's independence, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov met with the head of IGNFI company Olivier Delumo. During the meeting, the importance of the agricultural sector for ensuring food security and welfare of the population was emphasized. President Serdar Berdimuhamedov pointed out that Turkmenistan pays priority attention to modernization of the agro-industrial complex, improvement of land reclamation and introduction of innovations. The head of state reaffirmed the country's openness to mutually beneficial cooperation with leading foreign companies with advanced technologies, naming IGNFI among them. This is reported by the State Information Agency TDH. 

The head of state expressed readiness to consider the company's specific proposals for the development of partnership. For his part, Olivier Delumaux expressed the interest of IGNFI in implementing joint projects in the agricultural sector of Turkmenistan. At the end of the meeting, the head of state wished the businessman success and expressed confidence that the cooperation would contribute to the development of the country's agro-industrial complex.
