International air transportation channel will connect Ashgabat and Xi'an

The central Chinese city of Xi'an is planning to start air cargo service with Ashgabat and Dushanbe. This is reported by Orient news.

Xi'an Airport ranks among the leading international airports in China in terms of air cargo traffic. According to the deputy governor of Shaanxi Province and acting mayor of Xi'an, the city government's goal is to establish an international aviation hub and cargo hub China-Europe Express Changan, which would solve the priority of creating an international trade channel with high performance, low cost and excellent service.

The creation of an air cargo corridor with Ashgabat and Dushanbe, along with other air routes, will make it possible to cover all five countries of the Central Asian region.
