In honor of World Health Day in Ashgabat, the Technology Center of the Academy of Sciences of Turkmenistan hosted a scientific-practical conference on "Proper nutrition - the source of a healthy life". This is reported by the Internet edition "Vestiabad".
The event was attended by scientists and specialists from leading scientific institutions of Turkmenistan.
The conference was opened by D. Gadamov, Director of the Center, Doctor of Chemical Sciences. During the forum, projects on production of fermented milk curd products and preparation of melon jam, on control of trans-isomeric fats in food products were presented.
The issues of utilization of polymer packaging of food products were considered, the topics of nutrition to improve the quality of milk and productivity of cattle were touched upon. The forum participants considered the useful properties of lanolin and the use of pumpkin flour in bakery products. Attention was paid to scientific research on soil for growing orchards.
