Representatives of major Austrian companies expressed their intention to cooperate with the state and private structures of Turkmenistan in the construction and food industry. This aspiration was announced during the Turkmen-Austrian online meeting organized by the Austrian-Turkmen Society. The event was facilitated by the Embassy of Turkmenistan in Vienna. The representatives of the construction companies were particularly interested in the opportunity to participate in the project of Ashgabat-City, a satellite city of the capital.
Thus, Zeman Bauelemente Produktion GmbH is ready to negotiate with government agencies and Turkmen private associations on issues of joint production of steel structures, which would further be used for the construction of various facilities. Having 55 years of experience in mechanical engineering and steel making, the holding includes over twenty firms and has already established its own production in countries such as UAE, Turkey, Poland and Ukraine. Supplies of Zeman branded products to Turkmenistan have been carried out since 2012.
The Austrian holding offers its Turkmen partners a fully automated and robotized line for production of steel girders. The need for such equipment will certainly be in demand in the country in view of the implementation of the grandiose urban development plans.
Concern Waagner Biro, which has been working in the construction of facades, steel and glass coverings for 15 years and has realized more than seven dozen impressive projects all over the world, is also ready to cooperate with Turkmen partners. The company expressed its intention to cooperate on a number of impressive projects in Ashgabat city, as well as on erecting a 300 meters high monument on the occasion of the 30th anniversary of the state independence.
In addition, Waagner Biro has been working in the construction of bridges of various types for 160 years. Representatives of the company have shown interest in the construction of overhead crosswalks and bridges on the territory of the Turkmen capital.
BS Global GmbH is also set to cooperate with Turkmenistan. This Austrian company works in the field of food technology and food products and has been cooperating with a number of Turkmen firms for 12 years. The representative of BS Global said it was eager to implement such partnership projects as the creation and launch of enterprises engaged in the production of healthy and wholesome food.
