As part of the exchange between the youth delegations of Central Asian countries and India, the first visit of a representative delegation, which will include representatives from Turkmenistan, will take place. The purpose of the visit is to get acquainted with the work of Indian research institutes, visit high-tech companies and visit important ancient sites of India. During such visits, the young people will be able to fully explore the cultural and historical ties between the countries that have been formed during the years of mutually beneficial cooperation.
An online summit of Central Asian and Indian leaders in January this year endorsed such visits to revitalize the strong, age-old relationship between the states.
A Turkmen delegation's visit to Indian research institutes will make it possible to introduce new projects in the leading sectors of the national economy: mechanical engineering, healthcare, energy and transport. The decision to create special courses for young diplomats from Central Asian countries and India will provide an opportunity to develop political and diplomatic relations between the countries at a new level.
