Delegation of Turkmenistan participated in the business forum of CA countries and Japan

A large-scale business forum was held in Astana on August 9 with the participation of delegations from Turkmenistan and other Central Asian countries, as well as Japan. This was reported by the Internet edition "AsmanNews.

During the forum, the prospects of establishing partnership business ties between the states of the Central Asian region and Japan were considered. The forum included plenary sessions devoted to cooperation between Japan and the five CA countries in the field of carbon neutrality, as well as the prospects for the development of connectivity between Japan and CA in the changing international environment. The importance of investing in human capital and strengthening business infrastructure for business development was discussed.

Representatives of Turkmenistan familiarized the forum participants with the priorities of foreign and domestic policy, measures to support small and medium-sized businesses, and experience in creating import-substituting competitive enterprises. A number of multilateral documents on cooperation were signed at the end of the forum.
