Prospects of cooperation between Turkmenistan and Turkey discussed in Ankara

A conference dedicated to the 34th anniversary of Turkmenistan's Independence was held in Ankara under the auspices of the Embassy of Turkmenistan in the Republic of Turkey. It is reported online edition "Turkmenistan: The Golden Age." 

The forum gathered heads of Turkish ministries and agencies, heads of foreign diplomatic missions, representatives of international organizations, think tanks, scientific and social circles, as well as Turkmen diaspora and student youth.

During the conference, the participants were thoroughly familiarized with the achievements of Turkmenistan over the years of sovereignty. Special attention was paid to the international agenda of the country, in particular, to the forthcoming Forum in Ashgabat in December dedicated to the International Year of Peace and Confidence and the 30th anniversary of Turkmenistan's permanent neutrality. It was emphasized that the centuries-old brotherhood of the Turkmen and Turkish peoples is logically developing in the modern cooperation between the two states.

Within the framework of the event, the guests had an opportunity to visit a specially organized photo exhibition and watch a video presentation clearly demonstrating the successes of the Turkmen state.

At the end of the official part, in accordance with a good tradition, the guests were treated to dishes of the national Turkmen cuisine.
