During a working visit to Lebap velayat, Turkmen President Gurbanguly Berdymukhamedov donated 10 ambulances for children's departments of local district hospitals.
The Turkmen leader arrived at Turkmenabat Multipurpose Hospital for this purpose. At a meeting with workers of the health care system, the head of state stressed that child health care and care for the younger generation was among the priorities of the state policy. In this connection, it was decided to allot 10 new ambulances from the Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov Charitable Foundation, which helps children in need of care. The ambulances will be placed at the disposal of children's departments of each hospital in Etrap.
The keys to the new special vehicles were handed to the head of the Ministry of Health, Nurmukhammet Amannepesov, in a festive atmosphere.
The head of the country was also familiarized with the equipment of the ambulances. Each unit of transport is equipped with medical equipment, fully complying with modern requirements.
Talking with one of the medical workers, the Turkmen leader emphasized that improving the nation's health, especially that of young Turkmen citizens, remained the focus of attention of the Turkmen authorities. The President wished the medical workers success in their noble and hard work.
Employees of the country's health care sector thanked the head of state for his care for young people and for the relentless upgrading of Turkmen medicine's material and technical base.
