A delegation from Gazprom met with the President of Turkmenistan in Ashgabat

On February 15, 2023, a working meeting was held between the delegation of the Russian company PJSC Gazprom headed by Alexey Miller, Chairman of the Management Committee, and the President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov and Chairman of the Khalk Maslakhaty, National Leader of the Turkmen people Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov.

The working meeting was held in Ashgabat, where the Gazprom delegation arrived on a business visit. This is reported by the company's press service on the official website gazprom.ru.

During the interaction, the parties discussed topical issues of cooperation in the gas sector. Attention was paid to the prospects of the Russian company's partnership with Turkmenistan.

Recall that in July 2019, PJSC Gazprom signed a five-year contract with Turkmengaz for the purchase of Turkmen gas in the amount of 5.5 billion cubic meters per year.
