Turkmen linguists undergo training at a Japanese university

Turkmenistan is consistently expanding international cooperation in the educational sphere, implementing large-scale reforms to train highly qualified specialists. As part of this strategy, two students of the Turkmen National Institute of World Languages named after Dovletmammed Azadi got an opportunity to undergo a year-long study and internship at the University of Tsukuba in Japan. This is reported by MIC.

Future teachers studying at the Faculty of Oriental Languages and Literature were selected for in-depth study of disciplines. The first student was sent in accordance with the current Cooperation Agreement between the universities. The second applicant passed the competitive selection and was enrolled in the program "Japanese Language and Japanese Culture" from the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology of Japan (MEXT) for the academic year 2025-2026.

Such internships play a key role in the training of qualified personnel, providing invaluable experience of immersion in the language environment and access to advanced methods. This educational project not only confirms the high level of Turkmen linguists, but also strengthens scientific and educational ties between Turkmenistan and Japan, contributing to the training of in-demand specialists of the new generation.
