Turkmenistan Consul General in Kazan A. Bayramov participated in online events organized by the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs with the assistance of the government of Tatarstan. Other guests included diplomats from Uzbekistan, the Russian Federation, Arab countries, and the heads of the Tatarstan Investment Development Agency.
As part of the "100% Tatarstan" and "Friends of Tatarstan" meetings, the parties discussed international cooperation with a focus on the development of digital diplomacy.
The Turkmen side presented information about the prospects of development of the Turkmen-Tatarstan partnership, particularly with regard to engineering and shipbuilding, fuel and energy, medical industry, construction, etc.
Turkmenistan pays special attention to introduction of digital technologies in all spheres of the country's activity. In this direction, the Head of State has planned to create a Geoinformation Center. Turkmen diplomats also demonstrated new applications: a digital bulletin "International News.", Gurbanguly Berdymukhamedov's electronic book collection и online exhibition to commemorate the 25th anniversary of the country's neutrality.
