The National Leader of the Turkmen people Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov on behalf of the Khalk Maslakhaty of Turkmenistan congratulated the President of Turkmenistan on the coming New Year 2025 - "International Year of Peace and Trust", TDH reports.
In his congratulatory message, the National Leader of the Turkmen people noted that in the year of the "Treasure of the Mind of Makhtumkuli Fraghi" the authority and glory of independent neutral Turkmenistan are increasing and the living standards of the Turkmen people are improving. The events of the year 2024 have become a vivid confirmation of the effectiveness of large-scale reforms aimed at increasing the economic power of the state, improving the social and living conditions of the population and ensuring sustainable development of the country.
The unanimous adoption by the UN General Assembly on the initiative of Turkmenistan of the Resolution "2025 - International Year of Peace and Trust" is a vivid confirmation of international recognition of the Fatherland's foreign policy based on peace and mutual understanding. Also on the proposal of the country, the UN General Assembly unanimously adopted the Resolution "Central Asia - a zone of peace, trust and cooperation". This once again proves that the policy based on the principles of good-neighborliness is becoming more and more popular in the world arena, the message says.
