On February 22 in the capital of Turkmenistan negotiations were held between the head of the Turkmen Foreign Ministry R. Meredov and Marshal Abdul Rashid Dustum, head of the NIDA (National Islamic Movement Party of Afghanistan). At the meeting they discussed bilateral cooperation and the implementation of the agreements reached.
The head of the NIDA party noted the support of the Turkmen side in the peaceful development of Afghanistan, including through ensuring economic prosperity in the brotherly country. Particularly important in this context, according to the marshal, are the initiatives of the head of Turkmenistan, which contribute to strengthening the role of Afghanistan on a regional scale.
