The Executive Committee of the National Football Federation decided to appoint Rovshen Mukhadov as the head coach of the soccer team of Turkmenistan. As a forward, he played for "Kopetdag", "Nisa", Uzbek "Pakhtakor", Tajik "Pamir", Kazakh "Elimai", the Turkish clubs ("Genchlerbirligi", "Yimpas Yozgatspor", "Nevshehirspor"), played 12 matches for the national team. Turkmen striker with "Kopetdag" in 1992 and 1998, as well as with "Nisa" won the national championship title, and in 1994 he became the champion of Kazakhstan with the team "Elimai".
R.Muhadov coached "Nisa" and "Akhal", and since 2000, also the national team of Turkmenistan. From 2003 to 2007, Rovshen Mukhadov led the Turkmen Olympic team, as well as the youth team.
Since September 2011, the specialist has held a Pro AFC coaching license.
In 2012 he led the youth team to the Cup of the President of Turkmenistan. In 2013, he prepared the youth team for the Commonwealth Cup. In 2019, he assisted the mentor of the soccer team at the finish line of the Asian Cup.
The newly appointed coach has the task to prepare the national team for the qualifying games of the World Cup 2022 and the Asian Cup 2023. Recall that in early June 2021, the national soccer team of Turkmenistan will face the teams of the Republic of Korea, the DPRK and Lebanon in the stadiums of South Korea.
