At the meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers held on September 5 on the results of work for 9 months of the current year Vice Prime Minister H. Geldimiradov presented his report. This was reported on the air of the news program Watan.
Deputy Prime Minister noted that Turkmenistan has ensured stable GDP growth, which amounted to 6.3% in the first nine months of the current year. In January-September 2023, retail trade turnover increased by 9.6% compared to the same period last year. The revenue part of the state budget was executed by 111.7 %, the expenditure part - by 97.8 %.
The growth of the average salary in the country amounted to 9.9%. Social payments - pensions, scholarships and allowances - were executed in a timely manner. The amount of capital investments increased by 13.3% in comparison with the corresponding period of 2022.
In addition, Deputy Prime Minister reported on the implementation of the national Program of Socio-Economic Development of Turkmenistan for 2022-2028.
