Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan Rashid Meredov and Secretary General of the Economic Cooperation Organization Khusrav Noziri, who is on a working trip to Ashgabat, met on June 28. This is reported on the official website of the Foreign Ministry of Turkmenistan.
During the talks, the Minister and the Secretary General discussed the prospects for further development of mutually beneficial cooperation between Turkmenistan and ECO. Priority areas for the development of further cooperation were named. Among them are trade, transportation, investments, energy sector, ecology, agricultural sector, tourism.
In addition, the sides discussed the forthcoming Summit of the ECO Heads of State to be held in November this year in Tashkent.
