Deputy Foreign Minister of Turkmenistan V. Khadzhiev and Vice-Speaker of the National Assembly of Hungary Lezsak Sandor met on June 28 this year. This was reported by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan.
During the meeting, the sides discussed the current state of political, diplomatic, cultural and humanitarian cooperation between Turkmenistan and Hungary. It was noted that regular meetings of the Heads of State, in particular, the visit of the President of Hungary to Turkmenistan in June of this year, give momentum to the development of mutually beneficial bilateral relations.
В. Khadzhiev noted the need to intensify inter-parliamentary ties. The sides emphasized that recently relations between the two countries have been actively developing in the cultural and humanitarian spheres, particularly in the educational field.
