Huawei plans to build a data center in Turkmenistan. This news was shared by Huawei deputy general director in Turkmenistan Ma Xiaole during the Ashgabat exhibition dedicated to communications and IT solutions.
The Chinese corporation is a major international supplier of IT devices and infrastructure solutions in the field of information and communication technologies. Over 20 years of existence in the Turkmen market, Huawei has carried out a number of large-scale projects, including providing mobile communications for all services at the Asian Games that were held in the country. Last year, Turkmensvyaz signed an agreement with Huawei to supply equipment, software and services for developing the Altyn Asyr cellular communication network.
Representatives of Huawei are ready to use complex software solutions and technologies that can be used in the energy, oil and gas and other spheres for the Turkmen partners.
