The Iranian Cultural Center in Ashgabat opened an exhibition in honor of the holy month of Ramadan. This was reported by the TurkmenPortal online edition.
The exhibition exhibits calligraphy samples, art miniatures and Koran books of various sizes in different languages of the world. A special place in the exhibition is occupied by a painting on which all the surahs of the holy Quran are written in the smallest calligraphic script.
An interesting exhibit is a pillow for newborns with audio reproduction of spiritual scriptures. Iranian masters of calligraphic painting Hadi Seyedkhani and Fatima Parastande Hiya held a master class for students of the State Art Academy of Turkmenistan and schoolchildren.
Hadi Seyedkhani noted the development of cooperation between Iran and Turkmenistan in the cultural sphere and emphasized that many Turkmen poets wrote in calligraphy, including the great thinker Makhtumkuli Fraghi.
