Embassy of Turkmenistan in Tehran held a conference in honor of the Independence Anniversary

On September 30, 2025, the Cultural Institute of the Economic Cooperation Organization in Tehran hosted the conference "Peace and Confidence Policy - the Basis of International Security, Stability and Development". The event was organized by the Embassy of Turkmenistan in Iran in honor of the 34th anniversary of Turkmenistan's Independence. It is reported Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan.

The forum was attended by ECO Secretary General, representatives of the Iranian Foreign Ministry, members of the Parliament, ambassadors accredited to Iran and other distinguished guests.

The conference participants noted Turkmenistan's significant achievements over the years of independence, emphasizing the strengthening of economic potential and ensuring political stability.

As part of the cultural program, the guests were able to get acquainted with the exhibition demonstrating the culture, national heritage and fine arts of the Turkmen people. Traditional Turkmen cuisine and creative performances were also presented.
