On July 25, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Turkmenistan to the Republic of Singapore B. Durdyev was presented with his credentials. This is reported by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan.
The award ceremony was attended by the President of the Republic of Singapore, Halime Yacob.
During the meeting, the sides expressed mutual interest in expanding and deepening bilateral cooperation.
The Turkmen-Singaporean partnership was highlighted as promising areas of political and diplomatic, trade and economic, financial and medical spheres, processing industry, information technology, fuel and energy, transportation and logistics, urban development and cultural and humanitarian cooperation.
At the end of the meeting, the President of Singapore conveyed welcoming words to the President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov and the National Leader of the Turkmen people Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov.
