Winners of the drivers' contest were awarded in Turkmenistan

Ashgabat hosted a solemn awarding ceremony for the winners of the professional competition of motor transport drivers, which was timed to coincide with the World Day of Sustainable Transport. This is reported by the Internet edition AsmanNews. 

The competition entitled "Döwrüm bagtyýar, ýolum ygtybar" was held with the participation of the Transport and Communications Agency and the National Trade Union Center. The winners were determined in two categories - the jury selected the best drivers of cargo and passenger vehicles.

G. Ovganov, a driver of the Department of Bus Station and Bus Complex of the "smart" Turkmen city of Arkadag, was named the best driver of passenger transport. A. Gurbanov, an employee of the branch of the Association of Driving Schools of Akhal province, was recognized the best driver of cargo transport. The winners, as well as the second and third place winners in each nomination received valuable gifts.
