Innovative irrigation device developed in Turkmenistan

Specialists of the Technology Center of the Academy of Sciences of Turkmenistan have developed an innovative device for drip irrigation system. This is reported in the newspaper "Neutral Turkmenistan".

The new development saves water, nourishes plants with useful microorganisms, and avoids industrial emissions. The device is a tube with channels, which should be buried to the very bottom. This makes it possible to supply water directly to the root system, bypassing the above-ground parts of the plants.

The injector is made from lump sulfur, activated carbon, metal shavings, river sand and oil and fat saopstock.

The Center has also developed eco-granules that promote soil desalinization and better uptake of microelements by plants. Ecogranules are made of waste materials from water treatment and add additional organic matter to soils.
