Turkmenistan's economy demonstrates strong growth

At the regular meeting of the Government, Deputy Prime Minister H. Geldimuradov presented a report on the macroeconomic situation in the country based on the results of eleven months of 2023. This was reported by the State News Agency of Turkmenistan.

As Deputy Prime Minister noted, stable development is ensured in all sectors and regions of the economy, the welfare of citizens is growing. GDP growth for the reporting period amounted to 6.3%, which indicates a confident positive dynamics.

In general, the volume of manufactured products increased by 6.6% compared to the same period last year. There is also an increase in retail turnover by 9.9%, foreign trade turnover by 96% to the level of 2022.

Thus, the presented data confirm the effectiveness of the economic policy of Turkmenistan aimed at sustainable development and improvement of citizens' welfare.
