A concert titled "For the Soul" by young singer Selim Gurbansahetov was held in the Turkmenistan Cinema Concert Hall. The event was reported by the Internet publication "Turkmenistan: Golden Age".
This solo concert of the artist is already the second one this year. At the first concert his author's song "Closed" was performed, at the second solo concert Selim performed his author's composition "Autumn".
The young musician is a 3rd year student at the International University of Humanities and Development. Selim is a graduate of the music school on guitar and additionally studies vocal with teacher Reva Grigoryants.
The first time Selim tried himself as an artist was at the age of 10 at a concert of Rovshen Nepesov, singing a song from the movie "The Adventures of Electronic Man".
Together with his friends A. Huseykhanov, K. Nazarov and A. Yagshinazarov, five years after his debut, Selim created a musical group "Red Band". The friends still perform together with Selim, delighting the audience with their talented performance.
