Mejlis of Turkmenistan reported on the results of work for the week

During the regular meeting of the Government on July 26, 2024, Speaker of the Mejlis of Turkmenistan Dunyagozel Gulmanova presented a report on the results of work for the week. This was reported by the online edition "CentralAsia.news".

According to the report of the Chairman of the Mejlis, during the week a meeting of the organizing committee for the preparation of the meeting of the Khalk Maslakhaty was held, a meeting with the new head of the UNICEF office in Turkmenistan and an OSCE seminar in Ashgabat were held. Also, the deputies of Mejlis took part in the preparation of the Memorandum on the rules of foreign trade, necessary for accession to the WTO. It was noted that the deputies of the Mejlis regularly hold meetings with the population.

Having heard the report, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov emphasized the importance of improving lawmaking and gave instructions to continue work in this direction.
