Turkmenistan participated in a conference on youth employment

An international conference on youth employment and skills development was held in Astana from September 24 to 26. The event became a platform for a dialog between experts and official delegations from Central Asia, the EU and the Western Balkans. This is reported by the online edition "Turkmenistan: Golden Age“.

Turkmenistan was represented at the forum by employees of the Ministries of Education, Labour and Social Protection, as well as the Makhtumkuli Youth Organization. The conference participants paid attention to strategies to promote employment of young specialists.

The Turkmen delegation emphasized the importance of developing the vocational education system, expanding mentoring and introducing dual forms of education. Special emphasis was placed on the need to orient educational programs to the real demands of the economy, to increase the practical component in training, as well as to train teachers to work in the digital environment.

The conference contributed to strengthening regional partnerships and sharing effective approaches in training highly qualified personnel.
