The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan held a meeting with the Ambassador of France

On October 31, Deputy Foreign Minister Ahmet Gurbanov and Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of France to Turkmenistan Philippe Merlin held a meeting in Ashgabat. The sides discussed the development of Turkmen-French relations in political and diplomatic, cultural, humanitarian, trade and economic spheres. The sides focused on expanding trade and economic cooperation in such areas as energy, transportation logistics, construction, agriculture and "green" technologies. In addition, the sides touched upon cooperation in the scientific sphere - in particular, in archaeology, French language studies and speleology.

Following the meeting, the interlocutors emphasized mutual readiness to expand cooperation and further constructive dialogue.
