Thematic art exhibition in honor of Turkmenistan's Independence Day opened

On the occasion of Turkmenistan's Independence Day, the State Museum of Fine Arts opened an exhibition of works of fine and decorative-applied arts. This is reported by the Internet publication "Turkmenistan: Golden Age".

The exhibition exhibits occupy four halls. Museum works, as well as paintings and arts and crafts by masters of the State Academy of Arts and the Union of Artists of Turkmenistan are presented here.

The grand opening of the exhibition was accompanied by musicians of the Turkmen National Conservatory named after M. Kuliyeva - a string quartet, an ensemble of dutarists and canonists. The opening ceremony was attended by representatives of the Ministry of Culture, the Museum of Fine Arts and the Union of Artists of Turkmenistan.

A pleasant surprise was prepared for the visitors of the exhibition - easels were set up around the hall, at which GAHT students were writing studies for future paintings right during the event.
