President of Turkmenistan signs document on creation of State Commission on grain reaping

President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov has signed a Decree on the establishment of the State Commission for the organized grain harvest in 2023 in order to ensure efficient and timely wheat production. This is reported by the state news agency Turkmenistan Today.

According to the document, the Ministry of Agriculture must ensure proper maintenance of agricultural machinery, and the Agency of Transport and Communications must ensure timely transportation of the harvested crops to receiving points, warehouses and elevators.

Also, in accordance with the Presidential Decree, in order to ensure uninterrupted delivery of grain to receiving points, warehouses and elevators, the Ministry of Agriculture and Environmental Protection may conclude contracts with other agencies and private organizations for the lease of road transport vehicles.
