President of Turkmenistan Signs Order on Cash Payments to Women for March 8

President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov signed an Order during Friday's Cabinet meeting, according to which girls and women of the country will receive cash payments on the occasion of International Women's Day on March 8. This was reported by the state news agency Turkmenistan Today.

In accordance with the Presidential Order, from March 1-6, girls and women working at enterprises and organizations of any form of ownership are to be given cash gifts of 60 TMT. The gifts are to be given in a solemn atmosphere.

Similar cash gifts are also available for women who receive state benefits or pensions, are in postgraduate and doctoral studies, are students, schoolgirls or kindergarteners.
