The President of Turkmenistan held a meeting on agro-industrial complex

On January 8, President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov held an online working meeting with participation of Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers T. Atakhallyev, who is in charge of agro-industrial complex, and khakims of velayats. The digital meeting was devoted to the development of agro-industrial complex of the country and the progress of seasonal works. This is reported by the Internet publication "Turkmenistan: Golden Age".

According to the reports of velayat khakims, plowing, land leveling and preparation for sowing cotton are currently underway. Potato and vegetable and melon crops planting sites have been determined, and wheat crops are being tended. Inspection and repair of machinery involved in the seasonal sowing campaign, feeding the soil with mineral fertilizers are also carried out.

In addition, the President was informed about the functioning of heating systems in residential buildings, kindergartens and schools, as well as about uninterrupted energy, gas and water supply.
