The Minister said that Russia is also interested in the inflow of foreign students, and it was decided to increase the number of quotas for foreign citizens to get education. According to Falkov's information, citizens of Central Asian states are leading among applicants. In addition, the Russian minister voiced information on the structure of educational demand - it is assumed that the most in demand will be medical, engineering and pedagogical specialties. Traditionally for the last years very high demand for IT specialties is expected. In this regard, the Ministry has doubled the budget quota for IT training in 2 years.
