Students from Turkmenistan win gold medals at WSDG 2025

Students of the Oguz Khan University of Engineering and Technology of Turkmenistan have achieved outstanding success at the World Sustainable Development Goals (WSDG 2025) competition. In the prestigious competition, where more than 2,100 scientific papers from 15 countries were presented, Turkmen participants won top honors. This is reported by the Internet edition "Turkmenistan: Golden Age".

Suleimanmuhammet Shamuhammedov was awarded the Gold Medal and the WSDG Innovation Grand Award for his research "Scientific Basis of Green Cement Production for Sustainable Development".

Aimyrat Khalnazarov and Dzhemal Sharipova received another gold medal and a special prize of the competition for their project on processing industrial waste phosphogypsum into a high-quality construction material. The team's scientific supervisor was Atamyrat Altyev, Candidate of Technical Sciences.
