IKA delegation will come to Turkmenistan on a study visit

A delegation of the International Kurash Association IKA will arrive in Turkmenistan on August 8 to familiarize with the preparations for the 14th World Kurash Wrestling Championship. This is reported by the Internet publication "Turkmenistan: Golden Age".

The World Championship in belt kurash wrestling will be held in the Turkmen capital from November 23 to 28 this year. The IKA delegation is headed by Secretary General and Technical Director of the Association Mohammad Reza Nassiri Nejat (Iran). Together with him, Ravi Kapoor (India), head of the IKA Referee Committee, and Mansur Mirzaev (Uzbekistan), head of the Association's administration, will visit Ashgabat.

During the trip, the delegates will hold meetings with representatives of the State Committee for Physical Culture and Sports, the NOC and the Kurash Wrestling Federation of Turkmenistan. There will be a visit to the Olympic Campus, where the World Championship will be held.
