Presentation of a new poem by the National Leader of the Turkmen people took place

On August 18, the conference "Arkadagly döwrüň bardyr, Pyragy!" was held at the National Music and Drama Theater named after Makhtumkuli on the occasion of the presentation of a new poem by the National Leader of the Turkmen people Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov "The Treasure House of Makhtumkuli Fraghi's Mind". The work of the Chairman of the Khalk Maslakhaty "The Treasure of Makhtumkuli Fraghi's Mind" is timed to the upcoming celebration of the 300th anniversary of the Turkmen poet and philosopher Makhtumkuli Fraghi in 2024. The poem was published in the central print media.

The year 2024 in Turkmenistan was declared "The Year of the Great Poet and Thinker of the Turkic World - Makhtumkuli Fraghi". The collection of Makhtumkuli's manuscripts is included in the International Memory of the World List, the day of the poet's Tercentenary is included in the UNESCO List of Commemorative Dates.
