During the meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan on April 6, President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov instructed to increase the range and volume of production of textile products. This is reported by the online publication "Septralasia.news".
Deputy Prime Minister Batyr Atdayev presented a report on the performance of the light industry and private sector for the first three months of 2024. After hearing the Deputy Prime Minister's report, the Head of State instructed to pay special attention to the effective management of textile enterprises, and also noted the need to sufficiently supply markets and retail outlets with products and essential goods.
The President called it a priority task to improve the activities of the State Commodity Exchange of Turkmenistan and the Chamber of Commerce and Industry by introducing modern methods of exchange trading.
