On April 7, the ceremony of honoring the winners of international sports tournaments was held in the capital's martial arts sports complex of the Olympic City on behalf of the Head of State. This is reported by the online edition of "Vestiabad.
On behalf of President Serdar Berdimuhamedov and Chairman of the Khalk Maslakhaty Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, the athletes were presented with memorable gifts and the President's book "Youth is the backbone of the Motherland". The event was attended by deputies of the Mejlis, members of the Government, heads of military and law enforcement agencies, Vice President of the Humanitarian Association of Turkmens of the World, heads and staff of foreign diplomatic missions accredited in Turkmenistan, representatives of public organizations, universities, athletes, students and the media.
An exhibition of won sports awards, works of fine art and arts and crafts was organized.
