Embassy of Turkmenistan in Vienna held a cultural event to celebrate Novruz holiday

The Foreign Ministry of Turkmenistan in Austria together with the diplomatic embassies of Pakistan, Uzbekistan, Afghanistan, Iraq, Azerbaijan, India, Iran, Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan and Tajikistan organized a cultural event dedicated to Novruz, the holiday of spring and renewal of nature. The editorial board of the magazine "Society" also participated in the organization of the action. This is reported on the official website of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan.

The event took place on March 17, 2023 at the Park Hyatt Hotel in Vienna, the capital of Austria. The event included exhibitions, concerts, tasting of national cuisine of the organizing countries.

The exhibition exposition of Turkmenistan displayed original handmade carpets, souvenirs and jewelry in national traditions and objects of arts and crafts. The guests of the exhibition paid special attention to the literary works of Makhtumkuli Fraghi and his portraits by brushes of talented artists.
