Turkmenistan's Ambassador to Brussels Sapar Palvanov held talks with the director of the Royal Belgian Football Association Peters Willems. This is reported by the online edition "Asmannews.
During the meeting, the parties discussed the prospects of cooperation in the field of soccer by activating official relations between the soccer federations of Turkmenistan and Belgium. In order to improve the qualifications of Turkmen soccer players, the parties considered the possibility of implementing an exchange program between coaches and specialists.
The diplomatic visit resulted in an agreement on holding trainings and seminars in Turkmenistan by Belgian specialists, as well as training of Turkmen coaches in Belgium.
For more detailed discussion of the formats of cooperation in the near future meetings will be held in person and remotely.
