Turkmen airlines expand opportunities for tourists from Russia

Turkmenistan Airlines is expanding opportunities for foreign travelers, in particular, for tourists from the Russian Federation. Thus, the number of flights Ashgabat-Moscow is currently 5 per week. This is reported by the Internet edition "Vestiabad".

At the same time, Russian travelers get more flexibility in choosing flight routes, which opens up great prospects. Turkmenistan Airlines provides three main destinations for tourists from Russia - Ho Chi Minh City, Kuala Lumpur and Bangkok. After flights to Bangkok were re-established, there has been a tangible increase in demand for this destination. By the end of the first quarter of 2024, the occupancy rate of flights amounted to 90%.

According to A. Zubenko, Development Director of the main sub-agent of Turkmenistan Airlines in Russia, ITM group company, the increase in the number of flights to the Russian capital was made due to the growing demand and sale of air tickets for a number of dates in the first two months of this year.
