The UN Refugee Agency announced a grant competition "Sustainable development and solution of the problem of statelessness in Central Asia" for journalists and media organizations from Turkmenistan, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan. This is reported in the Telegram channel of the news resource "SalamNews".
To participate in the competition, projects should be submitted on the topics of sustainable development and combating statelessness in the Central Asian region. The projects that passed the competitive selection will receive a grant for their realization.
In order to be selected, an application and a detailed description of the proposed project should be submitted using a special template. The description should include information about the target audience, language, platform for publication, timeframe for implementation and planned outcome. It is also necessary to provide an estimate of the budget for the project implementation, which should not exceed 2000 USD.
