The Turkmenhovayollary agency will buy its first Boeing freighter. President Berdymukhamedov signed a resolution to this effect at a meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers on June 19.
According to the decree, Turkmen Airlines will sign a contract with Aircraft Finance Germany (AFG) to purchase a Boeing 777-200F.
AFG works with airline operators, manufacturers, banks and financial institutions worldwide. In recent years, the company has completed more than 100 aircraft transactions valued at more than $4 billion.
