The head of Turkmenistan congratulated the Russian President on the upcoming celebrations to mark the 75th anniversary of the Victory Day, which will take place in Moscow on June 24. The Turkmen leader emphasized that a Turkmen delegation headed by Minister of Defense B. Gundogdiyev would participate in the Victory Day parade.
The heads of state noted the important role of the Intergovernmental Commission in improving the legal framework of the Turkmen-Russian cooperation, strengthening trade and economic relations, developing cooperation in the industry, digital technologies, fuel and energy, transport, cultural and financial spheres.
Gurbanguly Berdymukhamedov expressed gratitude to the Russian side for the active work in the format of the Intergovernmental Commission and the initiative of its co-chairman, Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation Alexander Overchuk.
At the end of their conversation, Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov and Vladimir Putin expressed confidence in the further development of Turkmen-Russian relations on the basis of friendship and good neighborliness.
