Turkmenistan and St. Petersburg (Russia) held a videoconference on COVID-19

On July 24, there was an online meeting between representatives of Turkmenistan and St. Petersburg at which the parties discussed urgent medical issues, in particular those related to preventive measures and treatment of COVID-19.

The online conference was attended by A. Sarana, deputy chairman of the Committee on Healthcare (St. Petersburg), Ch. Agamyradov, deputy chairman of the Committee on External Communications of St. Petersburg, A. Khlutkov, special representative of the Governor of St. Petersburg in the field of healthcare, A. Ter-Minasova. Heads of the largest medical institutions of St. Petersburg, heads of universities, representatives of suppliers of medicines "Biokad" and "Geropharm" were also involved.

The participants considered topical issues related to preventing the spread of COVID-19 and expressed readiness to intensify interaction on this problem. In particular, face-to-face meetings between representatives of medical institutions and universities are planned when the quarantine situation stabilizes.
