Turkmenistan and Turkey hold talks on cooperation in the gas sector

On December 6, this year, negotiations between the head of the State Concern "Türkmengaz" and General Director of the Turkish company "BOTAŞ" were held in the Turkmen capital. This was reported by the Internet edition "AsmanNews.

The parties discussed strengthening cooperation in the framework of increasing and diversifying Turkmenistan's hydrocarbon exports. The importance of signing a number of documents by the National Leader of the Turkmen people in March 2024 during his visit to the Republic of Turkey was noted, including the Declaration of Intentions on cooperation in the field of hydrocarbon resources, as well as the Memorandum of Understanding on mutual cooperation in the gas sector.

The interlocutors confirmed their mutual interest in further development of partnership relations in the field of natural gas supplies.
