Within the framework of "Program of socio-economic development of Turkmenistan and investments for 2025" 200 million manats will be allocated for construction of production facilities of textile industry. Turkmen textile enterprises are equipped with modern equipment of the world's leading manufacturers from Belgium, Germany, Italy, Switzerland and Japan. All enterprises of the industry are certified according to the international standards ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and OHSAS 18001.
The products of Turkmen producers under the national brands Gala, Ýeňiş, Jeýtun and Mäne are successfully sold both in domestic and foreign markets. In addition, the country supplies finished textile products under the world famous brands of Puma, Wal-Mart, Lidl, Bershka, Pull&Bear and Cosco.
The construction of a modern textile complex is planned in the Saparmurat Turkmenbashi etrap of Dashoguz province. The new enterprise will specialize in the production of cotton yarn, terry and cotton fabrics, as well as garment products.
The complex will produce environmentally friendly import-substituting products and provide additional jobs for the region's population. In parallel, the government is developing digital sales channels through the Dokma online store, which offers hundreds of textile and footwear products.
The realization of these initiatives is aimed at strengthening Turkmenistan's position in the global textile market by combining national traditions, modern technologies and principles of sustainable development.
