Turkmenistan participated in the meeting of ambassadors in Brussels

Turkmenistan took part in the first meeting of ambassadors of the Cooperation Council for the Arab States of the Gulf, Central Asia and Mongolia in Brussels. This is reported by the Internet edition "Türkmenistan habarlar portaly".

During the meeting, the diplomats discussed prospects for the development of interregional cooperation in the economic and political spheres. Special attention was paid to the results of the summit of the heads of the GCC and Central Asia, which was held last July. Ways to expand cooperation in trade, investment, transportation and logistics were discussed.

The sides discussed preparations for the upcoming summits in the formats of CA-EU and GCC-EU. Turkmen Ambassador S. Palvanov noted in his speech that the Gulf countries are considered as reliable partners in oil and gas, transport and other spheres. Turkmenistan proposed to develop institutionalization of cooperation between the regions.
