Turkmenistan strengthens cooperation with UNDP in the health sector

Within the framework of the program "Response to COVID-19 in Turkmenistan" financed by the World Bank, the Ministry of Health and Medical Industry of the country received from UNDP another batch of medicines. The medicines will be distributed to medical institutions in Ashgabat and provinces of the country. This is reported on the official social media pages of the United Nations Development Program in Turkmenistan.

As previously reported, on July 10, 2020, the head of the Foreign Ministry of Turkmenistan met with representatives of the WHO Regional Office for Europe to outline the most important vectors of cooperation on taking measures for prevention and non-proliferation of COVID-19 virus infection. It was noted at the meeting that Turkmenistan and the UN are developing the 3rd plan on humanitarian issues.
