Turkmen delegation made a working trip to Afghanistan

A Turkmen delegation headed by Turkmen Foreign Minister Rashid Meredov made a working trip to Afghanistan from December 16 to 17. This was reported by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan.

The trip included a meeting with Foreign Minister Amir Khan Mottaki, Minister of Mines Shahabuddin Delawar and Minister of Industry and Commerce Nuretdin Azizi.

The sides discussed further cooperation in various areas. First of all, they reviewed the implementation of the TAPI gas pipeline and TAP power transmission line projects, as well as the possibility of expanding Afghanistan's railway infrastructure.

Members of the Turkmen delegation visited joint Turkmen-Afghan construction transportation and energy facilities.
